Open System Window In Windows 10

The System window in your Windows operating system is an interface that presents you with important information regarding your computer device and its specifications. 

This information can be about things like your current Windows version, processor chip details, installed RAM, system type, computer name, workgroup, and Windows activation state. 

Through this window, you can take actions like changing your computer name or activating your Windows product key if you haven’t already.

There are many ways you can go about opening this window and here are some methods you can use to open the System window in your Windows OS:

Method 1

1. Click on ‘This PC’.

2. Right-click and choose Properties.

 

Method 2

  1. Click on ‘This PC‘. 
  2. Press the Alt + Enter keys simultaneously.  

Alt + Enter keys can be used to view the Properties of any file or folder.

Method 3

  1. Simply press the Windows + Pause/Break key simultaneously.

Method 4

  1. Open the search bar.
  2. Type in “System”.    
  3. Click on ‘System’.

Method 5

  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Click on System and Security.
  3. Click on System.

Method 6

  1. Open the search bar.
  2. Type in “About”.
  3. Choose the option ‘About your PC’
  4. Click on ‘System info’ under Related settings.

On the left side, you can also see other customization options like Device Manager to sort your device driver software, Remote settings to allow/deny remote access control, System protection for disk partitions and creating a system restore point, and Advanced system settings for actions like performance customization, User profile customization and changing startup and recovery settings.
